I’m a maths teacher with 9 years’ experience preparing students for IGCSE Maths. I focus on algebra, indices and exam-style questions, using lots of past papers from Edexcel and Cambridge. Many of my students move from shaky passes to solid A or A* after a full year of weekly one-to-one lessons, with extra sessions near mock exams.

Hi, I’m a full-time IGCSE Maths tutor based in Hawalli. I mostly work with Year 9–11 students who feel they’ve ‘missed the basics’ and need topics like fractions, equations and graphs rebuilt step by step. Lessons are online, but I keep them very interactive, with screen-sharing, live worked examples and short homework between sessions to keep progress steady. Many of my students in Hawalli and Salmiya join at mid-year when reports drop, so I’m used to catching up topics quickly but carefully.

In lessons we unpack the language of the question first, then practise exam techniques so students know exactly how to show working. Before each exam session I offer short revision blocks focused purely on past papers.
